willful DEprivation

Ramadan in non muslims "island "  can be more challenging, as muslims try to navigate and fullfil the requirements of Ramadan *fasting from sunrise to sunset, fitting in the five daily prayers at their appointed times, attending special evening tarawih prayers at the mosque, and reading the Qur'an each day for an entire month* while juggling the demands of work, school, and family.

It is through the willful deprivation of what is normally allowed that the soul is strengthened and piety is increased.this is a holy moth we dedicated to fasting, spiritual attainment, and redesign our life to awareness of God ,humble thankfulness for whatever blessing He has granted.

I usually go on sort of technology crash diet (as inane web surfing,TV,movie..) and use email to keep connected with friends.Keep  my muslim rosario on my pocket so I can count my du'as (dzikir) wherever I am.Having iftar is the best moment I wait *as I am not on "see food" diet * also act of goodness and charity *even this is also the way to worship ping God.

It is through the willful deprivation ,like each time I reach for a cup of coffee or cold drink BUT I realise that I can't have one ? I reminded why I am doing this ? * For The Love Of God *
